What is the essence of a good profile? Is it compiling as much information about you as possible in order to educate others about yourself? Or should you take a more conservative route and simply put the minimal amount of information in order to put people into asking you more? In my opinion the best profiles are short, sweet and to the point. They offer the basic amount of information in order to educate readers, but don’t offer so much information that your profile becomes, in essence, a billboard. If the proper amount of information is shown, you will not only pull readers into your profile and become interested in you, but get them to ask for more from you and give the readers the feeling that you aren’t simply throwing your life on the internet.
